Life
It’s been six years since my wife and I brought a little Indie puppy named Shadow into our lives. She is super well-adjusted and gives us very little trouble.
Deciding that we (and Shadow) could use more trouble in our lives, we rescued a three-month old Indie from the streets. His name is Zorro, and he’s already zooming around with stuff he shouldn’t bite and nicking Shadow’s food when she isn’t looking.
Happiness. ❤️
Learning
I tell myself I should move my homelab from a VPS to a dedicated machine in my house. Then I look at the prices of memory and storage and make another payment to Digital Ocean.
It’s probably for the best. There are still things I’m learning about networking, security, and backups that will probably be needed for migration (and recovery when something invariably blows up).
Fitness
Ran my second 10K (after taking training more seriously this time). Strava celebrated by displaying a bunch of PBs. Instagram celebrated by serving up Ironman reels. The rabbit hole… it’s very real.
