Life
It’s been six years since my wife and I brought a little Indie puppy named Shadow into our lives. She is super well-adjusted and gives us very little trouble.
Deciding that we (and Shadow) could use more trouble in our lives, we rescued a three-month old Indie from the streets. His name is Zorro, and he’s already zooming around with stuff he shouldn’t bite and nicking Shadow’s food when she isn’t looking.
Happiness. ❤️
Learning
I’m trying to teach myself some basic Python, and keep oscillating between learning from books and having Claude Code take me through basic projects. Claude seemed the way to go, but I’m not quite feeling in sync with Opus 5. Maybe picking a study partner whose memory and abilities change every few months was not the smartest move. Feeling very close to coming full circle and learning the old fashioned way again.
Fitness
Ran my second 10K (after taking training more seriously this time). Now training to run my first half marathon in late September.
